End Of Year Appeal
Please Support the GWPF
I hope you have enjoyed our GWPF papers, reports, videos and newsletters during the last 12 months.
I am always delighted to receive feedback from our readers and enjoy hearing how our work continues to play such a crucial role in the climate debates both in Europe and around the world.
As we near the end of 2018, the recent carbon tax revolt in France is an encouraging sign of an nascent backlash against regressive climate policies. The new protests are happening in many countries because ordinary families and taxpayers are concerned about the rising cost of carbon taxes and other climate levies. As we have seen in Europe, these policies invariably hit the poor and those ‘just managing’ hardest.
The events now unfolding in France and elsewhere demonstrate why the GWPF is needed more than ever.
As part of our ongoing educational mission, we continue to demand a balanced and accurate coverage of the climate and energy debates in both academia and the mainstream media.
We are encouraging policymakers, journalists and the interested public to think beyond the pessimistic narrative on limits to growth and climate alarm which currently hold a near monopoly.
As we celebrate our ninth anniversary this year, I am writing to invite you to join us in our efforts.
Your support will help us to continue and widen our vital work.
